It is a long journey from Hyderabad, and the Himalayan climate is very different from the plains. Follow these tips for a safe yatra:
- Consult your doctor before the trip if you have any pre-existing condition, and carry generic medicines.
- Carry first-aid and essential medicines for headache, fever and digestion.
- Avoid travelling with kids under 8 because of the high altitude and uncertain weather.

Best Time to Visit Char Dham from Hyderabad
The Char Dham temples open for about six months a year. The 2027 season is expected to open around 9 May 2027 (Akshaya Tritiya) for Yamunotri and Gangotri; Kedarnath and Badrinath dates are announced in February–March 2027. Is helicopter service available?
The helicopter is not included in this package. Kedarnath helicopter tickets can only be booked on heliyatra.irctc.co.in, and we can help you book them at an extra cost. You can also choose our Char Dham Yatra by helicopter from Dehradun. No other website, company or person is authorised to sell Kedarnath helicopter tickets, so beware of fraud.
How can senior citizens travel comfortably?

Is Char Dham Yatra registration mandatory for 2027?
