FAQs

Questions your squad will ask

Can students from different colleges book together?
Yes, as long as everyone is a current college student with a valid ID.
Who gets the free seat?
Your group decides. If you don't tell us, it goes to the organiser.
What if someone drops out?
Your benefits are recalculated on the new group size. For example, if a group of 11 drops to 10, the free seat becomes a 50% seat, and if 17 drops to 16, the 50% seat is lost. Below 6, the offer no longer applies. See the terms below.
Is GST included?
No. GST is added at the applicable rate.
How do I pay?
25% advance after we verify your IDs, and the 75% balance on Day 1 before departure.
Is it safe for first-time trekkers?
Yes. The trek is easy to moderate, and a trained trek leader stays with the group throughout.
What do I need to bring?
Your original college ID, a government photo ID, and the packing list we send after booking.
Can I join if I'm under 18?
Yes, with a consent form signed by a parent or guardian.
Offer terms and conditions

Squad of 11: Student Group Offer, Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to the "Squad of 11" student group offer ("the Offer") from Manchala Mushafir ("we", "us", "our"). By making a booking under the Offer, the group organiser and every member of the group ("you") agree to these terms and to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Offer period

1.1 The Offer applies to bookings made and treks completed on or before 31 March 2027.

1.2 We may extend, change or withdraw the Offer at any time without prior notice. Bookings already confirmed before a change will be honoured on the terms that applied when they were confirmed.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Offer is open only to students currently enrolled in a recognised college, university or higher-education institution.

2.2 Every member of the group must submit a clear copy of a valid college identity card when booking, and carry the original during the trip. If a member can't produce a valid college ID when asked, that member will be charged the standard price, and the group's benefit will be recalculated.

2.3 Participants under 18 years of age must submit a consent and indemnity form signed by a parent or legal guardian before the booking is confirmed.

2.4 Members may come from different colleges, as long as each one meets the conditions above.

3. Price

3.1 The standard price is ₹5,500 (Indian Rupees five thousand five hundred) per person, Delhi to Delhi, excluding GST. GST will be charged at the rate applicable on the date of invoice.

3.2 Inclusions, exclusions and the itinerary are as published on the relevant trek page on our website. They are the same for every member of the group, whether that member pays the full price, a discounted price or nothing.

4. Group benefit

4.1 Free seats: for every complete set of 11 members booked together, one member travels free of charge.

4.2 50% seat: if 6 or more members remain after counting the complete sets of 11 (including a group of 6 to 10 members in total), one more member receives a 50% discount on the standard price.

4.3 The benefits in clauses 4.1 and 4.2 apply together. All other members pay the standard price. For example: 6–10 members get one 50% seat; 11–16 get one free seat; 17–21 get one free seat and one 50% seat; 22–27 get two free seats; 28–32 get two free seats and one 50% seat.

4.4 Bookings of fewer than 6 members are not accepted under the Offer.

4.5 The group must name the member(s) receiving the benefit when booking. If no one is named, the benefit goes to the group organiser.

4.6 All members of the group must travel on the same departure date and itinerary. The Offer can't be applied across separate bookings or departures.

5. Booking and payment

5.1 Bookings under the Offer are accepted only through our official WhatsApp or phone number: +91 93110 52232.

5.2 To book, the group organiser must provide the full name, phone number, email address and college ID of every member.

5.3 A booking is confirmed only when we have verified all members' college IDs, issued a Booking ID, and received an advance of 25% of the total booking amount (including GST).

5.4 The remaining 75% of the total booking amount must be paid on Day 1 of the trip, before departure. Members who haven't paid their balance may be refused boarding, without any refund of the advance.

5.5 Seats are allotted in the order in which advance payments are received, and are subject to availability.

6. Changes in group size

6.1 If the confirmed group size falls for any reason, including a cancellation or no-show, the group's benefits are recalculated under clause 4 on the new size. Any member who loses a free or 50% seat must pay the difference before departure.

6.2 If the confirmed group size falls below 6 members for any reason, the Offer no longer applies. The remaining members may either travel at the standard price or cancel under our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6.3 If members are added after confirmation, the group's benefit will be recalculated on the final confirmed size, subject to seat availability.

6.4 The group's benefit is finally calculated on the number of members who actually report for departure on Day 1.

7. Cancellations and refunds

7.1 All cancellations and refunds are governed by the Manchala Mushafir Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7.2 Cancellation requests must be submitted through our online Trip Cancellation page using the Booking ID, registered phone number and registered email address. Requests by phone, WhatsApp, text message or any other offline method are not accepted.

7.3 Refunds for a member who cancels are calculated on the amount that member actually paid. No refund is due for a free seat.

7.4 A cancellation that reduces the group size will also lead to the benefit being recalculated under clause 6.

8. Changes to the trip

8.1 We may change the itinerary, accommodation, route or schedule because of weather, road or trail conditions, government or forest-department orders, temple closures, or any concern for participants' safety. Such changes don't entitle anyone to a refund or compensation beyond what the Cancellation & Refund Policy provides.

8.2 Where we cancel a departure ourselves for reasons within our control, we'll offer an alternative date or a refund of the amount paid.

9. Conduct and safety

9.1 All participants must follow the instructions of the trek leader and the trip staff at all times.

9.2 Alcohol, smoking, drugs and littering are not permitted on the trek.

9.3 We may remove from the trip, without any refund, any participant whose conduct puts themselves or others at risk, or who breaks these terms.

9.4 Participants must tell us about any medical condition that may affect their ability to trek. Trekking at altitude carries inherent risks, and participants take part at their own risk.

10. Personal data

10.1 We use the personal details and ID documents you share only to check eligibility, manage your booking and keep you safe on the trip.

10.2 Copies of college ID cards are stored securely and deleted within 30 days of the trip ending.

11. General

11.1 The Offer can't be exchanged for cash, transferred to another trip or date, or combined with any other offer, coupon or discount.

11.2 A free or discounted seat can't be sold, transferred or given to anyone outside the booked group.

11.3 If anyone misuses the Offer, including by submitting false or altered documents, the booking may be cancelled without refund.

11.4 Our decision on eligibility, and on how these terms are interpreted, is final.

11.5 These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
