Start early from Guptkashi at 6:00 AM. First, drive approximately 50 km to Chopta. From there, enjoy a short trek to Tungnath, one of the highest Shiva temples in the world.

Chopta to Tungnath Trek: The 3.5 km trek passes through lush green meadows and dense forests, offering panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. Tungnath is part of the sacred Panch Kedar temples circuit, including Kedarnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar, and Kalpeshwar.
After visiting Tungnath, descend back to Chopta and continue your journey to Badrinath via Mandal, Joshimath, and Pandukeshwar. Enjoy scenic mountain views and rivers along the route.

The Do Dham Yatra is categorised as the medium difficulty level. Considering Haridwar as our base starting point, our complete tour will consist of about 800 Kms of road journey and more than 32 Kms of trek. The distance we are going to cover in just 5 Days and 4 Nights.
In addition to this high altitude, hilly roads, extreme climatic condition and low oxygen levels add to the difficulty of the tour. But you need not worry.
Before your trip even starts, our executive will instruct you about everything. Right from physical exercise to things to pack. In addition to this, all our guides are mountaineering experts with additional knowledge of first aid. They carry a first aid box with an oxygen cylinder and generic medicines.

Both online and offline booking are available for VIP darshan. So if it is not available online, we will get it from the offline counter. Just inform your trip manager, and he will ensure booking it even before you reach the temple.

As both Kedarnath and Badrinath temples are located at a higher altitude it get covered by snow during the winter season. This makes the region inaccessible for devotees.
The temple remains open just for six months in a year. Currently it is closed, but the Kedarnath temple is expected to open on 22 April 2026, while the Badrinath temple is expected to open on 24 April 2026 and will remain open till mid of November.

This year temple will remain open from late April to mid-November. So you can plan your journey anytime between this period. Most of the devotees prefer to visit here in the month of May or June as it is the most ideal time for the Do Dham Yatra.
So if you are travelling with family, especially elderly people, kids or women, then May will be the best time for you to get your package booked. But as this is idle time, during this time our seat availability is very limited, and it fills very fast.
If you are a youngster and love to travel in a less crowded but chill climate, then prefer to book your package for the month of September, October or November.
Just avoid July and August, as during this time, the Kedarnath and Badrinath regions experience heavy rainfall, causing a danger of road blockage, landslides, floods, thunderstorms, etc.

If you are an Indian national, you only need to share your Aadhaar card number along with some basic details, such as:
Once your Aadhaar number is entered on the official registration portal, an OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar. You will need to share this OTP with our executive to complete the registration.

Although you can join our Do Dham Yatra package from both Haridwar and Rishikesh, Haridwar is considered the most convenient starting point. Known as the Gateway to the Gods, Haridwar is one of the best-connected cities in Uttarakhand and can be easily reached by train, air, and road.
Haridwar has its own major railway station, Haridwar Junction, and the nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun), located about 38 km away.
How to Reach Haridwar by Train
Reaching Haridwar by train is one of the most convenient options. The city enjoys excellent rail connectivity with major Indian cities. If there is no direct train from your location, you can take a connecting train from New Delhi Railway Station.
You may also consider nearby stations such as Yog Nagri Rishikesh or Roorkee, which are located close to Haridwar.

The nearest airport to Haridwar is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, situated approximately 38 km away. From the airport, taxis, shared cabs, autos, and government buses are readily available.
Due to limited flight connectivity, you may not always find direct flights to Dehradun. In such cases, flying to Delhi and continuing the journey by road or train is often a more economical option.

Haridwar is well-connected by national highways and regular bus services. From Delhi, buses are available from ISBT Kashmiri Gate, including both Volvo and Uttarakhand government buses.
If you are driving from Delhi, the most commonly used route is:

The total distance is approximately 220 km and the journey takes around 5–6 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
