Harki pauri:- Located in the divine city of Haridwar, Harki Pauri is one of the most famous Ganga ghats in India. The lateral meaning of this word is "Steps of Lord Vishnu". As per the holy scriptures, it is believed that lord vishnu had kept his feet at this place when he stepped on the earth.

Gutkashi:-As per the holy scriptures, it is believed that lord Shiva came here from Kashi to hide himself from the Pandavas, as he didn't want to meet them and atone them for their sin of killing their loved ones in the war of Kurukshetra. That's why this place got its name as Guptkashi.
One of the major attractions of the Guptkashi temple is the Vishwanath temple, which resembles the temple in Kashi. Another notable temple is the Ardhanareshwar temple, where lord shiva and Maa Parvati, in the form of Sati, are being worshipped together.

The idle time will totally depend on the preferences and who you are travelling with. Generally, May and June were considered to be the most idle times for visiting this temple as the climate during this time is the most idle with temperatures ranging from 12 to 20 degrees celcuis with minimum rainfall.
