Here are a few points that will help you to judge a company and check the legitimacy of that organisation.

Registration Number:-

Before going with any travel agency, always try to ensure that the company is registered with any local or national government agency. Always ask for the company's registration certificate or Company Identification Number. Check this registration certificate on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) website.

How to check on the MCA website:-

Step 1:- Visit the MCA website

Step 2:- Enter the company / LLP name or CIN number and press "enter"

Step 3:- Enter the security question and submit

Step 4: A list of companies will open up with that name

Step 5:- Click on the CIN/FCRN/LLPIN/FLLPIN number of the company you want to check

Step 6:- Solve the puzzle and boom. Complete details of the company are in front of you, with its registered address, director details, date of incorporation, registered email ID, etc. For further verification, you can contact the director at the same email address.

GST Registration:-

Always ask for the GST registration number and get it verified at the GST portal

Step 1:-Visit https://services.gst.gov.in/services/login

Step 2:- Log in to your account

Step 3:- Click on Search Taxpayer and select Search by GSTIN / UIN

Step 4:- Enter the GSTIN of the company, and you will get complete details of that company.

Google Review / Quora / TripAdvisor:-

The best way to judge a company's service quality is by checking its Google review or Quora, or TripAdvisor. The best way to check the reviews of these companies is by the frequency of reviews. If you find any review within a few hours or in a short span of time, it's a sign of fake or self-financed reviews. Check its positive and negative reviews thoroughly, with its response to positive or negative reviews. It will help you understand better the quality of service they used to provide. If you find anything suspicious, it's time to search for some other company to save your hard-earned money from any fraud or unprofessional company.

Ask for previous batch photos with banners or video reviews of old customers. If possible, also ask for the email IDs of their old customer to know more about the company, its expertise, and all. Don't just settle for one or two photos; ask them to provide you with more than 50-60 photos with a banner.
